Clinical Consultation

Reflective, trauma-informed consultation for counsellors, and helping professionals.
I offer clinical consultation for practitioners seeking grounded, thoughtful support in their clinical work. My approach is collaborative, steady, and relational, with space for curiosity, reflection, and humour where it helps.
Consultation is a place to slow down, think clearly, and feel supported in the complexity of this work. You do not need polished answers before you arrive, we explore together.
Sessions are available outdoors or virtually, Mondays and Fridays.
Who consultation is for
Clinical consultation is available for new and established counsellors, therapists, and other helping professionals seeking a thoughtful, trauma-informed space to reflect on their work.
I welcome practitioners working with:
-
trauma and complex trauma
-
children, youth, and families
-
couples and relationship dynamics
-
ethical questions and complex clinical situations
-
countertransference and person-of-the-therapist work
-
nature-informed approaches
Consultation is available individually, in dyads, or in small groups. You do not need to practise from a particular modality or have everything figured out before reaching out.
*Clinical consultation is generally collaborative and non-evaluative. Clinical supervision includes a formal evaluative component, which may involve monitoring competency, providing documented feedback, confirming clinical hours, or completing professional sign-offs. If supervision or evaluation is required, the expectations, responsibilities, and limits of the relationship will be discussed and agreed upon at the outset.

My approach to consultation
You are welcome to bring the less polished parts of the work: the cases that leave you stuck, the moments you wish you had handled differently, and even the frustrated, avoidant, or judgmental thoughts that can be difficult to say aloud. Met with curiosity rather than shame, these experiences can offer valuable clinical insight.
My role is to help bring clarity to complex situations, strengthen attunement and safety, and support you in reconnecting with your own clinical wisdom, creativity, and presence. I bring warmth, humour, openness, and an appreciation for the imperfect, deeply human reality of this work.
Consultation is not therapy, but it can support meaningful personal and professional reflection. We can also make room for practical guidance, skill development, case conceptualization, and concrete next steps. My hope is that you leave feeling more grounded in yourself, clearer in your thinking, and more confident in your work.

I acknowledge that my work through Seasons Within takes place on the unceded, traditional territories of the Kwantlen, Katzie, Matsqui, and Semiahmoo First Nations. I offer this acknowledgement with respect for the land, the waterways, and the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for them since time immemorial and as an invitation to ongoing reflection, responsibility, relationship, and action. I also recognize that the communities now known as British Columbia have been shaped by Black and Asian people whose labour, leadership, resistance, culture, and care have often been overlooked or erased. Many have built lives here while navigating racism, exclusion, displacement, and systemic barriers. These histories are distinct, but interconnected through systems of colonialism and oppression that continue to affect people’s lives and wellbeing. I remain committed to learning from these histories and to creating a counselling practice grounded in cultural humility, anti-racism, accountability, and respect
